Here we see the MS Veendam, one of Holland America Line's Cruise ships that is named for the capital of Northern Netherlands's peat colonies. The cruise ship is in her north bound Panama Canal transit approaching the Pedro Miguel Locks, in the Background we see the Miraflores Locks in this image taken today April 14th 2012. The MS Veendam has a capacity of 1,350 passengers.
