Rainstorm approaching over the Panama Canal

Rainstorm approaching over the Panama Canal

Here in this image we see a late afternoon rainstorm approaching over the 2 south bound ships in the Miraflores Locks. The Panama Canal needs those rainstorms that are frequent in the rainy season (from End of March until End of December)  to refill the Gatun Lake and replace all the water that is lost to the Oceans with each ships transit.
